Catching Up
I have been trying to squeeze in transferring files from the old computer to the new one. One of the computers I borrowed is the exact same as my old one. My wife said I should just use the battery from that one to do what I need to. What a brilliant idea (well I didn't think of it and it has made this process very easy but there is still more to do)!
To news letter subscribers (I am not accepting new subscriptions); there will be a letter this weekend.
I often write about foreign and emerging markets. They have their own merits and affect some US sectors, like energy. We all have heard about China and India and what they might be doing to energy demand. If I haven't written this here before, I'll write it now. In a few years we will be talking about Pakistan and Viet Nam in the same way we talk about China and India today. I believe this means more good things for energy (this is not a call on the next two months!) and Americans should soon be able to access these markets, more likely through funds as opposed to individual stocks. Unless Sar/Box changes a lot of foreign companies will not spend the money to list here.
